A graduate of The College of Insurance, Doug Klem entered the insurance business as an underwriter with The Hartford Insurance Company in 1966. After joining the firm of Carl H. Ficke & Co, Inc., in 1970, Doug became a partner in 1979. The agency subsequently merged into the present day Chadler Group. In addition to serving his commercial and personal insurance clients, Doug is the CEO of the Chadler Group, Inc.

A graduate of Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics, Mike Iannaconi entered the insurance business in 1964, joining the firm of Richard C Boggio, Inc. in Bogota, NJ. Mike became a partner in the Agency in 1965. The agency subsequently merged into the present day Chadler Group. In addition to serving his commercial and personal insurance clients, Mike is also the Treasurer of the Chadler Group. In that capacity he is responsible for the day to day operations of the company including accounting, claims and the customer service departments.

John Werley started in the insurance business in 1964 with the Anderson Insurance Agency and went to the Lewitt Insurance Agency, Inc. in Union, NJ in 1967. John graduated from Kean College in 1977 while going to school nights under the GI Bill. In July of 1975 John started his own agency in Newark, the John L Werley Insurance Agency. He merged with Carl H. Ficke and Co., Inc. in November of 1991 which became The Chadler Group, Inc in 1994. John presently directs the Life & Health department in addition to serving his commercial and personal insurance clients.

A graduate of Montclair State University, George Yost entered the insurance business as an underwriter with Commercial Union Insurance Company in 1974, followed by five years in the Excess and Surplus lines field with Lumley Dennant & Co, a subsidiary of Edward Lumley & Sons of London, England. After joining the firm in 1980, George became a partner with current Chadler CEO M. Douglas Klem in 1990 at Carl H. Ficke & Co, Inc., which subsequently merged into the present day Chadler Group. In 1988 George was President of the Independent Insurance Agents Association of Bergen County. In addition to serving his commercial and personal insurance clients, George is instrumental in directing the marketing of commercial insurance business and is the computer system coordinator involved in training and usage of our computer network as well as the development of this website.

A graduate of Susquehanna University, and following a year at Oxford University, Oxford England, Scott Erickson, entered the insurance business in 1986 with Russell E. Stevens & Co. where he became Vice President and specialized in Insurance Agents Errors & Omissions insurance. In 1994 Scott became the Director of Insurance Sales and Risk Management for the Independent Insurance Agents Association of NJ with a primary responsibility of administering the Errors & Omissions program sponsored by the IIANJ. Some of Scott's achievements include:- 1991 Chairman of the Year Award from the Independent Insurance Agents of Essex County in 1991.
- 1992-1993 Chairman of the New Jersey Young Agents Committee.
- 1992-1993 President of the Essex County Independent Insurance Agents of America.
Scott attained the professional designation of Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) in 1991.
